McAtlas Nominated for Two James Beard Awards

In the book categories of Visuals, and Reference, History, and Scholarship

McAtlas: A Global Guide to the Golden Arches was nominated for two book categories in this year’s James Beard Awards. Now in its 35th year, the awards have been called the “Oscars of the food world.”

The two categories are:

• Reference, History, and Scholarship
  Includes manuals, guides, encyclopedias, and books that present research related to food or foodways.

• Visuals

  Books on food or beverage with exceptional graphic design, art, or photography.

It’s an incredible honor for a book to be nominated for even a single James Beard Award. To be a finalist for two is almost unheard of.
